Highland boat docks and facilities

Facilities are available to all members of the club to use.

From the lounge in the clubhouse to BBQs and restaurants nearby, everything is here for you to make this your home on the lake.

  • Our Clubhouse

Our clubhouse has a full kitchen, showers, office, and sailors’ lounge downstairs. Upstairs is the Great Hall for meetings and functions, complete with bar area and gas fireplace. Picnic tables and BBQs are strategically placed around our grounds to maximize the views.

  • Dockage for power & sail boats

Highland has docks for 132 member boats, plus room for 10 visiting boats. All member docks have 20amp service and water connection. As of 2020, we retrofitted our docks to make them fully adjustable in case of high water – a testament to HYC ingenuity.

  • Club Workshop

A large communal workshop has benches, table saw, drill press, arc welder and air compressor for club and personal projects.

  • Mast Crane & Pump Out

We have a hydraulic mast crane onsite and a pump-out for members’ use. All located at our large service dock.

  • Mast Rack

Onsite mast rack for the off season. Our mast rack is equipped with electric winches for ease of use.

  • Dinghy and Kayak Storage

    Dinghy and Kayak Storage

We also have racks to store your dinghy, SUP or Kayak when you aren’t using them. This is all included in the membership.

  • Winter boat storage

    Winter boat storage

Between October and April the club parking lot is converted into convenient winter storage for member boats. A crane is contracted and the club comes together to haul out all the boats over one weekend in October. Trailerable boats can then be brought into the yard once the crane work is done. In April the boats are all launched in just one day. Members have full access to their boats all winter long and in the spring the yard is a buzz with members getting their boats ready for the season ahead.

  • boat cradle storage

    Boat cradle storage

Once the boats hit the water in the spring, all members cradles get neatly stored on site. They can be made accessible for any upgrades or repairs members might want to make.

  • Lots of Parking

Our large parking lot that holds all the boats for winter storage, offers lots of free parking for members and their guests through the season. Since the area is a very popular summer destination, all members receive hill passes to ensure access down the hill for them, their family and guests.
