Basin Racing
Our members compete throughout the season in the Bluffer's Park Interclub Racing program. Fleets are drawn from the four basin clubs and include White Sail, Spinnaker, Fully Crewed and Double-Handed in series that run from May till the end of September. Highland boats have also won or placed well in LORCA events, the LO300, Susan Hood and many open regattas around the lake.
For the Basin racing and other regattas around the lake you will need to get a PHRF (Performance Handicap Racing Fleet) rating for your boat. HYC has its very own PHRF representative to assist you with getting one. Contact the Fleet Captain for more assistance.
