Request to book the Great Hall for your private event.

Booking the club’s Great Hall

Please complete this form if you would like to use the club for a private event. The social director will review it and get back to you to confirm.

  • It is not available to rent to non-members.

  • Even though a member books the Great Hall, they can not prevent other members from using the clubhouse. Booking of the Great Hall is to ensure that there are no conflicts with Social Committee organized events.

  • Members can request that the HYC bar be open, but since we are a volunteer based club, we cannot guarantee that we will have a bartender available to work your event. If the HYC bar is not open and you intend to sell or serve alcohol you will need to obtain a Special Occasions Permit from the AGCO and provide a copy to the Social Director.

  • Members are responsible for their guests and leaving the facilities in good order when they are done.

  • When booking the Great Hall realize that this is not the same a renting a venue where they have an event coordinator and staff to help you with your event.

  • To ensure that other members will still be able to freely enjoy the facilities (ie. parking, washrooms and kitchen), a maximum event size of 50 people is appropriate.

    For larger events or events requiring use of kitchen for caterers etc., the request will need to be approved by the Committee of Management.
